The animator starts his work with a folder consisting of a storyboard, the layout as well as the background. The storyboard, which looks like a massive comic strip, is manufactured from a written script.
The plot is laid out in a compilation of tiny pencil sketches, which are pinned up, thus the sequence, on bulletin boards.
Dialogues and explanations are printed below each and every drawing. Animators follow a manual and pattern sketches for the characters. But the appearance and range of the drawing depend on the animator's perspective ability and talent.
